We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Mobile Device Repair Engineer to join our technical team in Hong Kong. This is a critical role for a professional dedicated to precision diagnostics and component-level repair across a diverse range of mobile platforms.
Core Responsibilities and Expertise:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end repair process for a comprehensive range of mobile communication devices, including smartphones, feature phones, and tablets (iOS, Android, and other proprietary OS platforms).
Key Requirement: Applicants must possess demonstrated, in-depth technical knowledge and experience servicing a wide variety of manufacturers and models, with a specific emphasis on Kyocera devices.
Advanced Diagnostics: Perform sophisticated fault analysis using specialized testing tools and schematics to identify hardware and software malfunctions across all major brands.
Precision Repair: Execute complex, component-level repairs, including micro-soldering (BGA/SMD), board component replacement, display and battery refurbishment, and water damage remediation.
Specialized Device Service: Service and troubleshoot unique hardware and software issues for various specialized and rugged devices, including Kyocera models.
Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous post-repair quality checks and functional testing to ensure devices meet or exceed manufacturer specifications before deployment.
Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed repair logs and inventory records for parts utilized and time expended.
Technical Consultation: Provide clear, professional technical explanations regarding device faults and repair scope when liaising with management or client services.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Mobile Phone Repair Engineer or Senior Technician.
Verified Expertise across multiple mobile device brands is mandatory.
Specific experience with Kyocera devices is highly advantageous.
Proven proficiency in complex, component-level troubleshooting and repair.
In-depth technical knowledge of major mobile device architectures (iOS, Android, etc.).
Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with advanced repair and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Must possess valid authorization to work in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR).
Professional proficiency in English and Cantonese is preferred.
